In this 90 minute workshop we will review some very basic background information on suicide and then discuss the following:

  1. How to recognize the ways in which a person thinking about suicide often invites help, either directly or indirectly
  2. How to feel confident in approaching and connecting with that person to ask openly and directly about suicide
  3. What to do if they respond ‘yes’
  4. How to support someone if they acknowledge that they are thinking about suicide
